Our delicate butterfly wings are skillfully prepared and set in sterling silver. Our butterflies are collected (not killed) at the end of their natural life cycle by trained and licensed workers in the Peruvian Amazon who gather a few of the exquisite wings to preserve their beauty forever in these heirloom pieces of jewelry. In some ways it is a reminder of lockets from the Victorian era but with modern day attention to natural conservation and preservation.

This environmentally sensitive and sustainable program provides income for local families while preserving the Rainforest. Our pendants are durable and the colors remain vibrant, however please avoid exposure to water.
